Cold Rolled Steel Sheet
Cold Rolled Steel Sheet is a steel plate made by further processing metal plates or hot rolled steel at room temperature. Its surface is smoother and its dimensional accuracy is higher than that of hot rolled steel. Cold rolling is rolling at recrystallization temperature, but it is generally understood as rolling using room temperature rolled materials.

Material DC01 for COLD ROLLED STEEL SHEET:
COLD ROLLED STEL SHEET DC01 is equivalent to national standards Q195 and Q215, Japanese SPCC, and German standard ST12. Cold rolled steel plate with high tensile strength (270-410MPa) according to European standards, COLD ROLLED STEL SHEET DC01 is suitable for structural components that require significant external forces, such as automotive parts and mechanical manufacturing. Its chemical composition is similar to SPCC, but the specific composition ratios may differ.

Benefits of Cold Rolled Steel Sheet
Here are some of the benefits you can get from using cold rolled steel:
Better Surface Properties:
Parts made with cold rolled steel often have smooth and shiny surfaces void of scale or rust. Thus, making them useful when aesthetics is essential.
Greater Strength:
They are typically stronger and harder (up to 20% greater strength) than hot rolled steel. This makes them useful for high-stress applications.
Higher Precision:
Since cold rolled steel does not shrink while forming, it allows for the fabrication of more precise parts with consistent and accurate shapes.
Various Surface Finish:
It supports an extensive range of surface finishes.
Unique Properties of Cold Rolled Steel Sheet
Strength
Cold Rolled Steel can exhibit up to 20% greater strength than Hot Rolled Steel, making it more suitable for high-stress applications.
Precision
Cold Rolled Steel does not shrink after the forming process, allowing for the creation of precise components that require little to no secondary processing.
Surface
Cold Rolled Steel generally has a smoother and shinier surface, free of rust and scale.

Cold Rolled Sheet Production Steps
Its process mainly includes hot rolling stage, cold rolling stage, and surface treatment stage. The simple process is as follows:
Steel plate cutting → Heating (usually close to or above the Ar3 phase transition point of steel) → Hot rolling → Steel plate rapidly cooled to below 650℃ → Pickling → Cold rolling → Annealing (temperature is usually above 600℃ and below the Ac1 phase transition point) → Surface treatment → Coating (Applying anti-rust oil, paint, or other coatings)
Rolling Mills
The cold rolling process uses a set of precision-engineered rolling mills. These mills apply high pressure to the metal sheet to gradually reduce its thickness. The number of passes through the rollers depends on the desired final thickness and the properties of the metal.
Annealing (optional)
In some cases, annealing can be performed during the cold rolling process. Annealing is a heat treatment process that softens the metal, reduces its internal stresses, and increases its ductility. This is particularly important for metals that become too hard and brittle during the cold rolling process.
