Uniformity of GI Pipe 2.5 Inch
GI Pipe 2.5 Inch should undergo a test for the uniformity of the galvanized layer. The GI Pipe 2.5 Inch sample shall not turn red (copper plated) after continuous immersion in copper sulfate solution for 5 times.
GI Pipe 2.5 Inch Cold Bending Test
Galvanized steel pipes with a nominal diameter not exceeding 50mm should undergo a cold bending test. The bending angle is 90 °, and the bending radius is 8 times the outer diameter. During the experiment, the filler should be added and the weld seam of the sample should be placed on the outer or upper side in the bending direction. After the experiment, there should be no cracks or peeling of the zinc layer on the sample.
GI Pipe 2.5 Inch Hydraulic Test
The GI Pipe 2.5 Inch hydrostatic test should be conducted on a black pipe, and eddy current testing can also be used instead of hydrostatic testing. The size of the comparison sample for test pressure or eddy current testing shall comply with the provisions of GB3092
