Asian PPGI Coil

The coating system of the Asian PPGI Coil is very important, as it determines the key to its appearance and durability. The coating is the "outer layer" of the Asian PPGI Coil, responsible for resisting external damage and providing aesthetics.

1. Types of topcoats for Asian PPGI Coil (arranged in descending order of weather resistance):

·Polyester of Asian PPGI Coil: with excellent comprehensive performance, the highest cost-effectiveness, and the widest application. The weather resistance is average and suitable for moderately corrosive environments (C2-C3).

·Silicon modified polyester with Asian PPGI Coil: better weather resistance and durability than ordinary polyester, and better light and color retention. Suitable for most factories and buildings (C3 to C4).

·High durability polyester for Asian PPGI Coil: with properties between silicon modified and PVDF, it is a well-balanced choice.

·Polyvinylidene fluoride Asian PPGI Coil : top-level configuration. Has excellent weather resistance, UV resistance, pollution resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Mainly used for high-end public buildings, landmark buildings, and extreme environments (C4-C5). The most expensive price.

2. Coating thickness of Asian PPGI Coil:

·The front coating of the Asian PPGI Coil is usually "two coats and two baking", and the total thickness should not be less than 20-25 μ m.

·If high environmental requirements are required, the total thickness of the front coating of the Asian PPGI Coil should be above 25 μm, or even higher.

·Remember: Coating thickness is an important guarantee for corrosion resistance and weather resistance, and cannot be ignored just for its affordability.

3. Color and glossiness of Asian PPGI Coil:

·The color of the Asian PPGI Coill: Light colors (especially white and light gray) reflect sunlight, the board absorbs less heat, and the durability is relatively better. Dark colors (especially red, yellow, and blue) absorb more ultraviolet radiation and are more prone to aging and fading.

·Glossiness of Asian PPGI Coil: high gloss (such as 80%), bright and shiny, but prone to highlighting surface defects; Low gloss (such as 20-30%) has an elegant texture and can hide subtle scratches, which is currently more popular.
